    Worst app ever. Deleting AGAIN. Men are completely shallow. Men who were matched to me were way below my type. Completely NONCOMPATIBLE. Worst suggested dates and have to PAY MORE to meet men my type. Worst dating app ever.

    This app used to have a video chat feature, which was super helpful to talk to the person and see their mannerisms before giving them my personal information like my phone number. Without a video chat feature, this app does not feel safe.

    Wack the age rating says 17 and up but I got banned for being 17. Maybe update and try to push the 18+ idea

    Okay, so I’ve had hinge for a year and I’ve been on dates and even met people who related a lot to me. I have always loved the app and I’ve also had serious connections on there too. However, recently I got banned from hinge without any explanation on what I did. I was always respectful and was answering people. But, I have tried to appeal and they denied, so I have sent an email and they do not answer. Hinge’s customer service will not answer any of your emails. My ban was unfair and I can’t even try to understand what happened to my account. So, if you are trying to contact the company, good luck. You will not get any support from them and they will not help you.

    Update: 04-18-24 they were alerted to this review, and hit me with the ol “you violated our terms and conditions your account was removed. Except of course, they never say why, and won’t tell you. Apple however apparently does not respect our privacy or right to anonymity, so we are being snitched to, thus extorted or abused by the app companies. Anyways, the review. 04-15-24 Ah yes, another shell company designed to manipulate users and actually prevent them from finding people so they can be happy, by intentionally circumventing your preferences to make you keep desiring to be on there, because if you found a partner in the first few days, they would have no users. Let’s not forget that they started this woke virus, with all the options to choose from with gender.. there’s only two, it’s male and female. But they want you to believe that they have 50. Haha. Oh, they also want you to show others that you’ve been vaccinated!! Sure, that’s a normal not woke thing to discuss on a persons dating app! They run match, meetme, tinder, and more, and they all use the same algorithms and scam tactics to waste your time and lie to you. All the locals are fake, and their own employees use fake or real accounts on there while not disclosing anywhere that they’re paid actors for the company. As a result everyone is constantly misled. They will delete people who matched with you, to make you stay on there for longer, I know this because my friend matched me and the company unmatched us. Also, the matching system they use is a scam because they only show extremely large girls, endless arrays of big ones, and then all the other profiles start with a photo of two girls, then it’s always the extremely unattractive one. This company matchgroupllc is behind scamming users with intentionally bad or undesirable profiles, so that when they do see a NORMAL looking individual, it’s going to be 100% of the time, a scammer who works for matchgroupllc pretending to be an ideal date, but then who falls out of conversation the next day or so. It’s a pattern people, none of these profiles are real, that’s why matchgroupllc keeps buying all the dating apps to add to their portfolio because they have a monopoly on bot creating and scammers. This is why they are worth a billion dollars, because they are scammers. This company has so many negative complaints for all their dating apps and they stay off the BBB because they want to control the perception of their scam company. ;)

    Hinge is okay. You only have a severely limited amount of likes before a paywall pop ups with outrageous prices to have more like. I also do not understand why as a straight male, I am getting trans options when I specifically select that I only want to date women. Hinge can simply make that as an option for people that want to date them, which is fine. If you changed your number and don’t have access to it, they do not have any alternative ways to log you in. And so, they want you to delete your account and start over from square one. Like really? Seriously? Overall, you can meet some people here, but I suggest other dating apps until Hinge decides to fix themselves
