    More often the app is being more of a hassle rather than being enjoyable. Take away the YouTubers, the content creators, and what do you have? An app that constantly freezes. Low picture quality YouTube Shorts. YouTube shorts are always freezing or being played on low quality, even though on TikTok and Instagram I can watch all the same video in high quality of the other social media apps. And ads that appear way too much. More recently, when I press the “skip ad” button, another print appears on the bottom left to follow a link of the ad I just pressed “skip ad” on. Then I have to press the three buttons, then the Google ad center menu appears, the I have to press “dismiss” for the prompt to disappear. How annoying is that?!?! Another thing, if I quickly rotate my phone and try to trick the app of the orientation of my phone, the app flips the screen opposite and does not understand my phones orientation. They I have to flip upright to resent. Happens a lot when watching YouTube while laying on bed. The app is so unusable. When you save a video to a playlist you can only save it to one playlist at a time and cannot select multiple playlists to save like before. If I skip parts of a video, after just watching an ad, if I struggle to find exactly where I’m trying to skip to, I’m then forced to watch another ad, even after I just watched an ad. YouTube is so horrible and unusable. And then all the weird videos that appear on search results that have nothing to do with what I type into the search bar. It’s annoying. Now YouTube has ads that look like they would be YouTube shorts, but if you’re not careful enough to see the “sponsored” on the bottom, you wouldn’t realize it’s an ad until you click on it and it takes you away. Horrible. YouTube is such a horrible app. If it weren’t for the YouTubers that upload their content on this app, I wouldn’t use YouTube. YouTube is shown to be more and more greedy.

    The press corruption is so deep it’s hard to see straight. YT isn’t straight. But here at least I see the popular opposition. It’s not quite C-Span, but it looks like the local no-POV paper except NYT vs NYP vs WSJ.

    It definitely has some features I love that my old music app didn’t, such as being able to replay a song and go backwards in the playlist. In addition to that, my previous music app was HORRENDOUS about playing the same 30-40 songs over and over even though I had approximately 1500 songs with my thumbs up on them. However, this app is EXTREMELY glitchy and temperamental. More times than not, when I am playing music in my vehicle and I leave the vehicle, the app glitches and needs to be closed and reopened to play music. My last music app was DEFINITELY MUCH BETTER at seamless transition from one output to another. I do like that I can play just the song or watch the music video. However, it is rare to find myself actually watching the music video. As of today (3/25/26), my phone is up to date as is this app. The issues I have with this particular app have been present throughout several software updates. One of the biggest issues I have with this app, is the cost. This app costs me the same amount in 5 months that my old music app cost me in an entire year
