LastPass? More like Last Choice. For a tool that’s supposed to lock down your digital life, it seems to do a better job of locking you out of your patience. From shaky security to a clunky MSP system and dashboards that are perpetually stuck in a bygone era, here’s the real deal on why LastPass might not be your best bet. **Security Slip-Ups** Let’s cut to the chase—LastPass has its security issues. With bugs popping up more often than they should, it’s hard to feel safe. What’s the point of a password manager that keeps tripping over its own feet? **MSP Mess** If you’re managing passwords for clients, LastPass’s MSP features are supposed to make life easier, right? Wrong. It’s outdated, awkward, and feels like a puzzle you just can’t solve. Managing client info shouldn’t be this hard. **Buggy Dashboards** Navigating LastPass’s dashboards is like stepping back in time—and not in a cool, retro way. It’s all bugs and no speed, with a user interface that feels unfinished. It’s as if they’re always in the middle of updating things but never quite get there. **Perpetual "Under Construction"** Always updating, never improving—that’s the vibe you get with LastPass. They promise fixes, but each update seems to leave things messier than before. It's like they're stuck in an endless loop of "almost there, but not quite." **Conclusion** Overall, LastPass feels like it’s lagging behind when it should be leading. With all the modern options out there, sticking with LastPass’s mix of outdated features and constant bugs just doesn’t make sense. It’s definitely time to look elsewhere if you want something that’s secure, sleek, and actually works.

I bought a new iPhone and still have access to LastPass from the iPhone but now I cannot access LastPass from any other of my devices!
  • Violates California’s Automatic Renewal Law

Although I switched to a better password manager long ago, LastPass charged me for a yearly renewal without any warning ahead of time, which is against the law in California. When I reached out to support, they were useless. Between all of the data breaches and poor service, this app is worse than worthless.

A once great app that I used for years has become so bad I wouldn’t give a nickel, much less $38 for its frustration. You’d have better luck sitting on a rock hoping it will hatch into a flying monkey than you would trying to get this beast to fill in a password

While helpful many times does not appear to learn the new password. Also quite frequently keeps using previous passwords
  • Just more trouble

The issue is what LastPass is all about: passwords. I have dozens of them and Each one keeps telling me I have to change it to something more difficult for the ones that are more brilliant: the Hackers. So my life’s wasted for another 15 minutes trying to remember what I had changed it to, what clever password I created to fool Evil. You, Technology, told me you would make life easier. Instead, you have made life more difficult, more complicated and more dangerous. Thank you ever so much.
  • Frustrating and stupid problems

The app is fine but I think the one star rating might get somebody’s attention. I’ve spent the last 45 minutes going around in circles trying to login. I knew this would happen. As soon as they started saying “we recognize you on this device so no reason to bother signing in with your master password“ I knew I would eventually forget my master password, and I did. Now that it’s required it’s a whole stupid process to try to recover my account. And I’m supposed to be pairing my device with the LastPass authenticator app. They ask me to open the Authenticator app and scan a QR code, but there’s no function on the Authenticator app to scan the code. And when I go to my camera to scan the code it takes me to a login page - the login that has now failed so many times that they’ve suspended my account. Frustrating and stupid

Was a LastPass user for over 15 years As the grew it seems like it has declined They forced me to change my master password I had for years and now I can remember the new one so I go to password recovery and i receive a code. I tried to put the code into recovery and I keep getting error messages. This has been going on for weeks and when I try to do it on different machines I get the same results. What I don’t understand is why did I have to change my password in the first place?
