I downloaded the app and paid the $7 for the full tour the night before we went to the battlefield. The day we went to the battlefield it made me purchase the full tour again but wouldn’t load because I had no service there. Took over an hour to load and once it did it only worked for 5 minutes and then cut out and I had to download the full tour again and it never worked after that.

We took this tour after we enjoyed the app developer’s Gettysburg tour. It was a great 1/2 day trip. Well narrated and easy to use.

Antietam is frequently overshadowed by its more popular neighbor, Gettysburg. But the battlefield is just as poignant and much more meaningful because of the lack of crowds. The tour reminds you of the incredible losses suffered on these fields. Recommend at least half a day to see everything. Go up to the observation point when it reopens.
