Here's how it works: - A leader of the group will create a group name and password. - The leader with then share the group name and password with all participants, and everyone will choose a name to use during the Xchange. - Once you register or sign in, you will add gifts by using a photo of the gift or going to your favorite online store and copy the url for your gift. There is also an easy way to shop and save the url provided in the app. You can add multiple items in your gift. - Once you've added your gift, you're done until the Xchange begins. - The leader will set the date and time of the Xchange. The leader will begin the Xchange at that time, or another time if needed. - Once the leader begins the Xchange, the app will notify everyone the Xchange has begun, or the leader will notify you if you aren't running the app at that time. - To join, each person will click the join button. - The leader will begin the gift exchanging by generating a random order. During that time, you can pick a gift from the table or steal a gift from someone who has a gift already. The leader will set the maximum times a gift can be stolen - Once all the gift are chosen from the table, the last step is the stealing rounds. The leader will set the number of stealing rounds. - During the stealing rounds, you can steal a gift from someone. - Final screen will be the results. - You are responsible for getting the gift you contributed to the winner of your gift. - For the gift you won, the contributor is responsible for getting that gift to you. Other features: - The leader will have a reset button once the Xchange begins, in settings. This is useful if someone comes in late, and you want them to join and reset the random order. - Once the Xchange begins, there is an area to chat with other participants. You can use this to remind someone it's their turn, or have some choice words for someone who stole your gift. However, it's encouraged that you use this app while simultaneously in a online meeting session, such as zoom, to encourage more interaction and enhance the fun. Trial and In-App-Purchase: This app is free for trial of up to 3 participants. For more participants, you may buy unlimited participants for $9.99. Only the leader needs to pay.
