    I have like 330 shinys but needs to make a deino mask because you have the hat also just add more masked. Another thing is that something is off with the new update (body update) where the face is just off I really enjoyed the original if you could bring that back as a option also all the skin colors that are white make me look like a ghost

    I have enjoyed this game off and on for quite some time. I ignore most of the negatives and just enjoy myself. This new avatar “update” is ridiculous though. Players have very clearly communicated that they do not enjoy the new models. They look awful, and despite the feedback they were still pushed through. If they actually listen and revert the changes/fix these models my score will change. Otherwise it’ll sit at 1 star.

    I have played this game for 8 years and, for the most part, have enjoyed playing. However over the past 2 years, the game has been seriously declining. Niantic has been increasing prices, not listening to the playerbase, releasing uncalled for and simply terrible update/events. I really do want to continue playing the game, but the latest update might be the final straw. They need to remove the new characters immediately and bring back the old ones. I don’t understand why they would change something that wasn’t even a problem, but that’s Niantic for you. Hopefully they will listen to the community and revert the update but I doubt that they will.

    While the avatar customization is a fantastic idea, it was executed so poorly. People spent lots of time (and possibly money) to collect enough coins to buy outfits for their avatars, and these outfits don’t even fit the new models the right way. It just feels that the new update was pushed out without any additional consideration for its execution to pre-existing features.

    With the new update the avatar creation model has been significantly downgraded in appearance. While the idea to provide more choices in skin tone is something is great, the execution was poor at best. Many of the skin tones offer a barely visible change between similar color tones. Moreover, the UI needs to be updated so that they are more organized and sequential rather than randomly picking and hoping that the shade of brown, black, or white ends up being a better fit. As expected with any new update there are bugs that need to be fixed with character customization as well, such as some clothing such as the straw hat causing a glitched appearance. While the crux of the game remains the same, the character customization was significantly downgraded and needs to be updated so as to better match the intended vision and actually provide a proper character creation UI.

    Whoever designed the new avatars needs to get it together. Every avatar looks like a man, the pieces of clothing no longer look right, and I’m extremely upset that all of my once saved outfits have disappeared. The hair options are all awful The skin tone… looks like a walking dead character If this is where the company is headed im not impressed. We simply asked for more skin tone options and hair styles. My female avatar look absurd. Hard to even look at .

    Why is it that the female avatar now be looking like males 🤦‍♀️ it makes my avatar look so ugly and manly not feminine at all I’m so disappointed in the change

  • Constant bad decisions

    This company just loves to add updates that make the game worse. Most recently the avatar “update”. Somehow they managed to make the characters look butt ugly. The awful proportions, the quality of the models themselves, clothes payed for looking completely different on the characters and just worse. It is awful. I can’t find it in myself to log in to play anymore.
