The only bad thing I can say is that I rely on this so much I hardly ever consult my cookbooks anymore.

I love the NYT Cooking app. I use it all the time and it is such a great resource to help me get inspired with new, innovative, yet simple recipes. I love how they just added videos to see how some of the food is made.

I try to always look at the comments for tweaks from the other cooks.

I always loved this app. Love the recipes. I pay for my subscription and was shocked to sign on today and find I was being bombarded with advertisements.
  • Removed private notes

Being able to add private notes to recipes to improve them, based on my own or others comments is the most useful part of the user experience since many recipes are not great without adjustments. The apparent removal of private notes from the current version makes the app functionally useless Old recipes have my old comments and work beautifully No more

The recipe writers are on strike. Delete this app from your phone & don’t use it until NYT gives them fair wages.

I wish I could search by 5 star reviews only.

I’ve had it for a few years. Want to cancel as I never use it. I cannot find anything on the app about canceling the subscription??? Isn’t there legislation about this EXACT thing now????
