  • I don’t see this as a must have. Filters degrade photos and most of them now are no longer free.

    I’ve constantly learning new things about photography. I see they’ve changed a lot of the filters now to a premium membership. Honestly most filters in this program degrade photos. I’ve zoomed in on photos after applying filters and they degrade the quality. They aren’t all that great. They don’t make your pictures get a professional look. I think it maybe time to cancel. I don’t see how this is a must have program. It has the same basic edits as photoshop. Picsart does a better job cleaning up photos.

    I had the other light room app for phones, and I’m on an iPad and it worked fine but it FORCED me to get this one and now most the features are useless without premium subscription or sign up which is sooo annoying!!

  • Disappointing for travel photography

    I spent a small fortune to get a souped-up iPad. I pay the monthly Adobe subscriptions. My goal was to have a no-laptop solution for travel photos. It actually worked for awhile, and was “almost there”: good enough to give it a try. But, after I invested the time to carefully design, test, and document my step-by-step workflow, it’s one year later and my data doesn’t come across properly any more using DNG exports to my desktop. My whole purpose with LR mobile is to invest some time in the field to cull (i.e., star rate) and do basic corrections and cropping. After 60 days of remote travel this year, I’ve returned home to find that the Star ratings don’t seem to export with the exported DNGs. Quickly picking out the “4s and 5s” to further edit takes forever. I see on the forums that this is a known problem, and that iCloud is the fix. Listen up, Adobe, using iCloud is completely unacceptable for travelers. More often than not I’m stuck with either horrible connectivity, or none at all. That’s not going to happen. Can you please fix the DNG export bug so I can re-export my 10k or so travel photos and import them to LR Classic on the desktop? Maybe in the future, a little less development money on AI features and a little more concentration on good old fashioned software QC?

  • Missing Features

    The app is really great, im a premium user; but its missing some features from the mobile app. Mainly the actions tab where you can select the subject, background, and sky to retouch them. Its a really good feature that needs to be on the iPad app. It also crashes sometimes and the cloud doesn't backup right away so I lose progress. If those were to be fixed it would be 5 stars. Also there should be a feature (if there isn't already) where you can add hundreds of photos from one device like my phone, and store it into the cloud to view on another device, right now the closest thing we have is photos that are already edited are synced to the cloud but it would be nice to be able to take pictures on my phone camera, then mass transfer all the photos un-edited to be edited on the iPad or vise-versa.

    What a waste. I can not print from the app??? No where can i find this info. I have a subscription and many thousands of images that i can send to a phone for sharing???? Are you joking?? Avoid this mess. Miserable support.

  • Loss of features in update

    Using the upright geometry no longer auto constrains the crop. Why have us press another button? No more grid on manual geometry corrections? Y’all smoking crack? Also, I used to be able to press vertical even though I copied from previous which also was set to vertical and it would update to the current image. Now I have to turn off guided upright and then go back to vertical.

    Latest update focuses on consumer yet again. Still no photo stacking, no color labels for workflow just to get started. Adobe needs a PRO version of LR for iPad and this consumer version. Been waiting for pro features FOREVER

    Lightroom CC Desktop is inferior to Lightroom Classic, and this Lightroom CC mobile is inferior to Lightroom CC Desktop. Even the keyboard shortcuts support is not there yet.

  • Constantly crashes, super slow, useless app

    Lightroom would be awesome if it actually worked. Im a photographer and rely on Lightroom to do my job. It crashes weekly sometimes more. It’s so so incredibly slow. I absolutely hate this app and wish there was something, anything else that I could use. If i could give zero stars I would.
