  • Great library of magazines, but recommended nudes?

Recently I saw that ‘my recommended lectures’ in fact are nude pics that I never picked up on my favorites. I asked some people that also have Readly, and the also have that. Could you please, remove those recommendations if you don’t want to see it?, Thanks

The ‘Recommended for you’ section on the home page is overly focused on sex stories. Two lead it off today. Please explain why that is so often the focus. I certainly don’t read magazines on Readly with articles like that. The blatant use of sex stories to get clicks in that section is offensive!
  • Why no yearly subscription pricing?

As the title says why no option to subscribe yearly at a discounted rate? Surely in 2024 (you) recognise greed too inflate your shareholders is disgusting especially because its customers who ultimately pay (and) with your competitors ALL offering yearly discounted pricing it makes it simple where too spend your money. Then we get to the option that any individual with a library card can access 99% of ALL magazines free via apps that work with libraries again taking business away from you because of your greed. Yes, a well designed app and good selection of magazines but taken at a whole just isn’t worth a subscription.

By far the best way for US readers to get access to UK publications.
  • Still not accessible.

I am a visually impaired user. I wrote the company nearly a year ago with concerns that the content was not accessible for individuals with vision impairment. I subsequently canceled my subscription and requested a refund. I did not receive a refund. And apparently the cancellation did not go through word to the wise, once you complete cancellation, you then have to click cancel one final time to complete termination of the subscription. Of course I did not see this, because you know I’m officially impaired. I requested a full refund but fully expect the company will continue to ignore my concerns.

The APP is easy to navigate and inexpensive when you consider the price per issue or by subscription for all the magazines available. I started just reading the various photography and Apple Mac magazines but have found many more to enjoy. I particularly like being able to download copies to my iPad for reading on long flights.

  • Article view issues!

Dear developers, I have been using and (mostly) enjoying your app for many years. My biggest problem has always been with the article view. In the latest update, you finally changed the lower info band to appear dark so it doesn't hurt the eyes at night. Congratulations! However, when you scroll it still keeps popping up. Additionally, the upper info band (the one with the periodical’s name) also pops up each time you scroll, touch, etc., and pushes the text downward. It is the most annoying distraction ever. Here is a suggestion: why can’t the upper and lower info band come up only when you touch the center of the text, but not at all when you scroll?! Nobody wants to see these pop-ups every other second when scrolling and reading... And please, don’t make it push the text downwards!!! Please, tweak your software, it will take only 5 minutes and you could improve the article view mode immensely!!! Also, while I’m at it: it would be fantastic to have the photos in the article view to be larger, preferably clickable to be zoomable to their original size. Or at least to be stretched to the sides of the screen when in the article view. Again, probably just a minor software tweak that makes reading in the article view more enjoyable. It matters on devices with smaller screens such as the iPad Mini and iPhones! Thank you for taking these suggestions into account and the best of luck with development!
