    Since the removal of ads for ink, I can unlock maybe an episode a week if I’m lucky, (watching an ad to temporarily unlock an episode is beyond not worth it) and I can’t give ink to creators I like during events like inksgiving. Dedicated to making their app unusable and ignoring feedback.

    Tapas is amazing. I’ve used it for almost 4 years now and I’ve never had a better experience. The graphics are amazing, the stories are top tier. If anything, I’d wish they would bring back the stories of the month update. Tapas is great for getting into stories especially if you are just getting started. Tapas even has many great resources for starting your own storytelling. It’s a great way to meet a wide spread audience and have fun reading and participating as much as you’d like. Tapas is an amazing innovative app that I will always recommend to others. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK TAPAS TEAM!!

    The app has so many amazing stories that you can’t find on other apps, but using the app is so frustrating sometimes. There are small, not so bad bugs, like the app sometimes randomly liking comments for you or not indicating that you already read a chapter if you read the downloaded chapter offline. And then there are issues that are really obnoxious, like not being able to download multiple chapters easily. If you want to download more than one episode, you need to tap an obnoxiously small and easy to misclick button on every single episode. And if you go to another app, or even another page inside the app, the download stalls and you need to force restart the app and redownload everything (which again, is painful). Not to mention the painfully slow download speeds even though the speed of other apps is perfectly fine. And then there are “bugs” that they probably put in on purpose. Like, if you are scrolling to the next page and your swipe goes even 1cm to the left or right instead of perfectly vertical, you will unlock the previous or next chapter if you have the “one tap” on or a WUF. Since they make the chapters cheaper with one tap, I’m guessing this is on purpose. And the annoying part is that these “bugs” have been around for the entire couple years I’ve used the app and none of them have been fixed. On a different note, if you like binging stories then you basically need to spend money since the free chapters only come once a day or once every couple hours and they only last a couple days. The prices also got silently increased a few times since I’ve used it. If it weren’t for their selection of stories then I would never use this app.

  • Good stories but they are difficult to finish

    I love the stories on this app and it was once easy to use/access. Now, however, the new episodes are 400-450 ink and there is no longer a reliable source of ink, can’t watch adds for it or easily take surveys. I used the “wait until free” option but I’m soon caught up, I would also use the “watch add for an episode” function to finish a story. However, they updated and took away the ability to basically finish a story unless you buy a lot of ink, which not all of us can afford. I am seriously considering deleting this app since I don’t see the point in starting stories that I can no longer finish.

    Everything was fine until the new update which made the screen like an iPhone’s but I’m on a iPad and it’s just making it harder for me to read.

    My app hasn’t been able to load any chapters for many hours. I’ve repeatedly restarted my phone. I deleted the cache. Nothing works.

    It’s TRASH the updated app doesn’t work at all. At this point just delete the whole app and go to WEBTOON. None of the manga is gonna open so you can’t read it.

    The reading experience of the app isn't great. Constantly being tossed to the next chapter when I don't want to be, and when you go back you have to find your place again. Very frustrating since the content is enjoyable.

    They’re pretty much just slowly taking away the ability for free episodes they took away watching ADs for ink then took away 3hrs till the next episode now it’s 24hr some went to 7days????????? Recently noticed you can’t watch 3 ADs for 3 free episodes anymore. So idk enter at your own risk & sometimes things are poorly translated like literally the sentence makes no sense

    I like reading all the novels but when I have to get ink for the episodes, it doesn’t transfer to my account. It annoys me so bad. :)
