  • Subscription has changed

Changing subscription service and screwing existing customers. I wouldn’t mind the change so much, but despite what they say, their database sucks… get ready to listen to the stuff you’ve never heard of before… you’re not going to find bestsellers here… those are all on audible.
  • Recent changes make this app worthless

The overwhelming amount of loyal users that are extremely dissatisfied with the recent pricing and selection changes is obvious. I never leave reviews, but this one is well-deserved.
  • Misleading Subscription Plans

The new subscription plan descriptions aren't clear regarding the limits now in place. The ofuscation of the details is annoying but it appears for $16.99/mo you get access to 3 selections/mo from the catalog. The "unlimited" selections seems to be very limited so I'm not sure it's worth $11.99/mo for a single read when Hoopla (5 selections/mo, free with library card) & Kindle Unlimited exists. The Everand app is cumbersome to filter for "unlimited" options, wastes a lot of time clicking on selections for them to be locked. You need to search for a specific author to filter for unlimited content. Proper tagging or category filtering of content would be most helpful. If you haven't "upgraded" your legacy plan yet, don't. Wait until the search and tagging is more robust. It locks you out of "premium" content & apparently most everything is "premium" it seems.
  • Disappointed with new plans

I initially fell in love with this app during my 30-day free trial. While I found the audiobook limit and unclear premium title rules slightly frustrating, the extensive catalog made up for it. I was ultimately 4.5 stars happy. However, things took a turn after I switched to the new ‘standard’ plan announced right at the start of my first billing period. This change meant I lost access to previously available titles and now most books require an ‘Unlock,’ limited to one per month. There’s no middle ground between the previous generous access and this restrictive model. Their updated ‘unlimited’ catalog is very disappointing in comparison to the previous availability after hitting ‘premium’ title maximums. I understand not having unlimited access, but this new structure feels overly limiting and disappointing. I know I’m not alone in feeling this way as I have seen several other book lovers across various platforms express the same sentiments and many cancelling all together. I hope the changes are reassessed as I doubt I will stay beyond the month if not.
  • turned into overpriced audible

Scribd/everand has been my go to, i would tell everyone and anyone about this awesome service. today i logged in they have basically become exactly the same as audible, only one “premium credit” a month. At this point im just going to switch fully to audible because this service has made itself obsolete, so disappointing to readers who can’t afford luxury subscriptions.
  • Another greedy company

Well, I enjoyed the app while it was good but now with this new subscription, I can’t even read/listen to all the things I was looking forward to. What a great way to make loyal customers spiteful. I honestly hope this app tanks and something like its former version will take its place.
  • As others have said— DO NOT UPGRADE

I loved Everand until their new pricing/subscription model. My kids were able to listen to audiobooks frequently, and I was able to listen to my one or two a month. Now I get one title per month, and I can’t justify spending an unlock on a children’s book. We will be dropping our subscription and using Libby or YouTube. Really disappointing.
  • Not good anymore

I loved this app previously, but now they limit what you can get. I am someone who listens to a lot of books and this app isn’t worth my time anymore.

New changes made this app pointless as you could get so much more for the price. Now Audible/Kindle are premier to this.

This services used to be absolutely amazing and I bought a years subscription. Then with 1 days notice they changed their entire system and no one is happy about it. Go with audible. Not much different in pricing and you can keep the books. would not recommend
