It’s nice to be able to draw on the go. It’s nice to be able to vectorize things on the go. However, it’s lacking some often-used tools and isn’t fully utilizing the iPad, pencil and Smart Keyboard technology. Adobe, please use this product and update it as you find the annoying UX issues. Go use Concepts for a week and directly copy how they handle pencil vs. touch vs. keyboard/trackpad inputs: they know what they’re doing! Also, please bring more actual design tools in - not just drawing but also more of the things Illustrator users actually use over and over and over again. Many peoples’ dreams are to get their projects to 90% on the iPad and finish it up on desktop, please please please invest in the UX and tooling to make this a reality. My iPad has the same chip as my MacBook, I should be able to do more on my iPad.

Absolutely horrible app all around. Desktop version of Illustrator is fantastic, this is a sorry excuse for a piece of software. It’s laggy, constantly loses progress on projects when it crashes, the brushes don’t work well, nothing is convenient to get to, the UI is god-awful, and worst of all the Vectorization experience is sub-par. I’ve used this app on a Microsoft Surface and the experience is beautiful. No idea how Apple is doing this horribly.

It’s infuriating and impossible to change without a PC. I just bought a subscription and I’m ready to cancel over this “Lorem ipsum” garbage. it’s taking too much of my time to delete every time I need a text box.
  • Standard, horrible Adobe product

Can the competitors PLEASE finish putting these clowns out of business. Even for skilled professionals, be prepared to struggle with random, unintuitive UX where you spend the majority of a project trying to find ‘that one tool you really need’ before realizing it was randomly moved, renamed, or changed in or to increase the software’s usefulness 0%.
